Though Scalebound may have been delayed, Microsoft still has a fairly packed release calendar for both the Xbox One and PC. On Xbox Wire, corporate VP of marketing Mike Nichols revealed that one of its biggest releases for the year, Gears of War 4, will have its multiplayer beta in Spring 2016. The game itself will be out in Fall 2016.
The release list isn’t anything terribly new – games like ReCore, Sea of Thieves and Gigantic don’t have definitive dates – but it is good to see some progress being made on Gears of War 4. Other big name games releasing in Fall 2016 include Halo Wars 2. Interestingly, though Crackdown 3‘s multiplayer will be coming in Summer 2016, there’s no information on when its single-player will be out. Then again, the year’s only just started.
