Genshin Impact - Ganyu

MiHoYo Games’ Genshin Impact is still going strong with the latest update adding the new Dragonspine region and 5-star characters like Ganyu recently debuting. However, players still have concerns about Original Resin, a resource which has been necessary for obtaining rewards from bosses, Domains and Ley Line Blossoms.

In its recent Developers Discussion, it addressed the demand for more Original Resin, noting that, “All events in Version 1.3 that do not require challenging Ley Line Outcrops or Domains will not consume Original Resin.” It also promised that the “vast majority” of large events in the future wouldn’t require Original Resin.

Battle Pass rewards from update 1.3 onwards have also been adjusted. The Sojourner’s Battle Pass and Gnostic Hymn, the free and paid tiers of the battle respectively, will now provide one Fragile Resin every 10 levels from level 5 onwards. Mystic Enhancement Ores were the original reward and have been distributed throughout other levels without affecting the overall amount gained.

A material conversion function is also in the works with more details on materials required and rules coming soon. Genshin Impact is currently available for PS4, PC, PS5, iOS and Android.
