miHoYo Games’ insanely popular free to play title Genshin Impact is finally receiving native PS5 support next week. To help showcase the improved visuals, the developer has released about eight minutes of new gameplay footage for the PS5 version. Check it out below.
Along with enhanced textures, native 4K resolution support is confirmed along with HDR. The PS5 version also utilizes the console’s SSD for faster loading times – fast travel now takes a few seconds and you can jump into domains almost instantly. miHoYo has also created a graphics library and customized file-loading system from scratch which will allow for increasing fidelity and performance even more in the future.
DualSense support is also included, providing more detailed vibration that’s unique from the PS4 version. If that weren’t enough, Qingyun Peak is also getting a makeover exclusively on PS5. Native support for the console arrives on April 28th with update 1.5 which also brings new quests, two new 5-star characters and a new dungeon.
