Genshin Impact - Shenhe

Genshin Impact’s update 2.3 “Shadows Amidst Snowstorms” is out tomorrow but the miHoYo Games is already surging onwards with future content. It recently tweeted out art and details for two new upcoming characters – Shenhe and Yun Jin – both of which are polearm wielders.

Shenhe is considered an “Ethereal Soul Amidst the Mortal Realm” and hails. from a clan of exorcists. Certain “reasons” saw her becoming a pupil of the Cloud Retainer, the latter considers Shenhe to bear the closest resemblance to herself. Utilizing the Cryo Vision, it seems that Shenhe is quieter and more reserved than her master.

On the other hand, there’s Yun Jin, “Stage Lucida,” director of the Yun-Han Opera Troupe and a famous opera performer in Liyue Harbor. She utilizes Geo abilities along with polearm strikes, though how she differs from the likes of Arataki Itto and Gorou – who debut with tomorrow’s update – remains to be seen. Either way, the next few months should be fun for Geo users.

Genshin Impact is currently available for PS4, PS5, PC, iOS and Android. Stay tuned for more details on update 2.3 in the meantime.
