miHoYo Games has announced a new livestream for Genshin Impact, taking place tomorrow on its Twitch channel at 8 AM (UTC-4). It will focus on Version 2.6 “Zephyr of the Violet Garden” and judging by the image in the official tweet, Kamisato Ayato is finally being added as a playable character.
Head of the Kamisato clan and the Yashiro Commission as well as Ayaka’s older brother, Ayato is a Hydro who wields a sword. Described as “low-profile and graceful,” he’s committed to Inazuma’s stability. Despite his gentle looks, Ayato is described as being extremely resourceful and cunning. Time will tell what his agenda is and how it relates to the Raiden Shogun.
Genshin Impact is currently available for PS4, PS5, iOS, Android and PC. Its last major update, Version 2.5, added Yae Miko along with new story quests and a “Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto” as a new weekly boss challenge. Read more about it here and stay tuned for details on the next update.
