Genshin Impact – Version 2.7 “Hidden Dreams in the Depths” Goes Live on May 31st

The update introduces two new characters, Yelan and Kuki Shinobu, along with a new Archon Quest, four star weapon and events.

Genshin Impact - Version 2.7

After facing a sudden delay, Genshin Impact’s Version 2.7 update has a release date. Titled “Hidden Dreams in the Depths“, it goes live on May 31st for PS4, PS5, PC, iOS and Android. Check out the latest trailer below.

The update sees players exploring The Chasm some more and introduces two new characters – Yelan and Kuki Shinobu. A new event “Perilous Trail” will also be available, adding a new Archon Quest to the mix. While the Traveler travels with Yelan, Yanfei, Kuki and Arataki Itto, Xiao is off on his quest which delves more into the history of the Yakshas.

Along with a new combat challenge “Realms of Guile and War,” which confers a new four-star bow Fading Twilight, Yelan and Kuki will get their own Story Quests and Hangout Events. The Irodori Festival also rolls on while the “Core of the Apparatus” event, which sees players creating robot models and earning robotic furnishings for the Serenitea Pot, will also be available.
