Genshin Impact - Xiao

Xiao, the last surviving Yaksha, is the latest character to arrive in miHoYo’s Genshin Impact with the release of update 1.3. A new trailer helps showcase his various moves and abilities, along with some background on his motives. Check it out below.

As an Anemo wielder, Xiao has some interesting default moves like taking no damage when executing plunging attacks from great heights. Charging his default attack is also helpful for launching enemies into the air for more combos. Lemniscatic Wind Cycling is his Elemental Skill and allows for quickly dashing through foes along with traversing the environment.

But it’s Bane of All Evil, which sees Xiao donning his Yaksha Mask, that’s the highlight. As long the mask is donned, Xiao will deal increased AoE and attack damage at the cost of slowly losing health. All damage becomes Anemo damage and can’t be overwritten by any other elements. Furthermore, he gains increased jumping for relentless plunging attacks.

Genshin Impact is currently available for PS4, PC, iOS and Android. Stay tuned for more details on update 1.3’s upcoming events in the coming days.
