While venturing through Ghost of Tsushima, completing quests and liberating camps and outposts, Jin’s Legend will increase and grant new Technique Points. When you rank up, new Ghost weapons will be available to unlock and use. These range from tools like Kunai to explosives like the Black Power Bomb and they have a multitude of uses outside of stealth.

Here are all the Ghost weapons in the game along with their upgrades:

  • Kunai – Throw two kunai at foes, which can stagger them (and also has a chance to kill weaker enemies). Requires one Technique Point to unlock.
  • Hidden Blade – Requires Kunai to be learned. Allows you to throw an additional kunai for three in total. Requires one Technique Point to unlock.
  • Serrated Blades – Requires Hidden Blade to be learned. Kunai deal double damage. Requires two Technique Points to unlock.

  • Concussive Blast – Requires Black Powder Bomb to be learned. The shockwave from the bomb will knock down foes. Requires one Technique Point to unlock.
  • Explosive Shrapnel – Requires Concussive Blast to be learned. Increased damage and blast radius to the bomb thanks to the addition of shrapnel. Adds shrapnel to the Black Powder Bomb, increasing its damage and blast radius. Requires two Technique Points to unlock.
  • Smoke Bomb – Stuns enemies and can be used to either escape from the thick of battle or inflict critical strikes on enemies. Requires one Technique Point to unlock.
  • Blinding Dust – Requires Smoke Bomb to be learned. Enemies are temporarily blinded and smoke lasts longer. Requires one Technique Point to unlock.
  • Healing Incense – Requires Blinding Dust to be learned. Smoke Bomb will restore some health when deployed. Requires two Technique Points to unlock.

  • Guarded Throw – Requires Sticky Bomb to be learned. The blast from the bomb will no longer affect you, making this more useful at close range. Requires one Technique Point to unlock.
  • Explosive Powder – Requires Guarded Throw to be learned. Increases Sticky Bomb damage and radius. Requires two Technique Points to unlock.
  • Wind Chime – Throws a bell that distracts one enemy. Requires one Technique Point to unlock.
  • Firecracker – Requires Wind Chime to be learned. Upgrades the bell to a firecracker which distracts multiple foes at once. Requires one Technique Point to unlock.

If you want to raise your Legend as quickly as possible to unlock all the different Ghost weapons, seek out quests which offer major increases to Legend. Make sure to also battle Bandits and Mongols whenever you get the chance.
