Ghost Recon Wildlands Rainbow Six Siege

As promised, Ubisoft revealed gameplay for the latest Special Operation to hit Ghost Recon Wildlands. Centred on Rainbow Six: Siege, Operation Archangel sees players teaming up with Rainbow Operative Twitch. Together, you must locate Caveira, a stealthy BOPE Operator who seems to revel in killing Santa Blanca Drug Cartel members. Check out the trailer below.

There’s plenty more content to experience in this new update, including new weapons and two new Ghost War PvP classes – Surgeon and Toxic. Surgeon uses an MPD-0 Stim Pistol to revive fallen allies, while Toxic deploys a drone that fire sulfur bombs for flushing enemies out of hiding. New emotes, voice lines and victory poses have also been added to the PvP component.

PvE players get the new Ghost Mode (though it will be available one week early for Year 2 Pass owners). This makes the overall campaign tougher with permadeath, friendly fire, a single primary weapon and much more. Furthermore, the entire game, along with Ghost Mode, can be experienced solo without any AI companions.

Ghost Recon Wildlands’ Special Operation 2 goes live on July 24th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
