Friends and fellow countrymen – have you missed that feeling of getting punched in the face continuously by Hercules? SCE Santa Monica seems to have the remedy as it released a new trailer showcasing the Trial of the Gods mode.
In this time-attack mode, you and a fellow partner will team-up along with your respective Champions to take on 5 waves of brutal enemies. These include Satyrs, Cerberuses, Cyclopes, Gorgons, Juggernauts, Minotaurs and much more. Make it to the end and you’ll find yourself facing an epic boss.
Which is pretty much when you can cue said face pounding.
Bonus time will also be alloted depending on how fast you take out a wave. At launch, Trial of the Gods will be featured in the Desert of Lost Souls, Forum of Hercules and Rotunda of Olympus maps, with many more arriving later.
God of War: Ascension is currently due to release on March 12th exclusively for PlayStation 3.
