God of War has been a spectacular success for Sony, both critically and commercially– probably one of their biggest successes ever, right alongside the likes of Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us. A couple weeks back, on the occasion of the game’s one year release anniversary, Sony had announced that they’d be celebrating this success with a full-length feature documentary chronicling the development of the title and talking about various behind-the-scenes things.
Now, they’ve revealed the exact date for when this documentary will be released. Over on Twitter, the official account of Sony Santa Monica confirms that the documentary, titled “Raising Kratos”, will be debuting on the PlayStation YouTube channel this Friday, May 10th, at 12:01 AM Pacific time.
Maybe we’ll get to hear more about what games and other media the game drew inspirations from. We’ll definitely be hearing a lot more about the iconic one shot camera the game implements. It’s definitely going to be one to watch, especially if you’re a fan of the game or the series.
