#9. THANATOS (GOD OF WAR: GHOST OF SPARTA)

Kratos and Deimos’ duel in Ghost of Sparta is a bit of an anticlimactic one, as we mentioned earlier, but what it leads into is anything but. The brothers join forces and take on Thanatos, who is an appropriately formidable opponent. Not only was it a slick and exciting encounter that capped off the story spectacularly, it also centered around the unique hook of Kratos and Deimos working together to kill their enemy. When it comes to the handheld God of War games, this is easily the best boss fight.
