God of War PS4 Pre-Loading Begins on April 17th, Unlock Times Revealed

SIE Santa Monica’s God of War is coming to PlayStation 4 on April 20th. If you’ve already pre-ordered the game, then you can pre-load it on April 17th. This is according to PlayStation Network in the United States though a specific time wasn’t provided.

Meanwhile, the game itself will go live at 12 AM ET, April 20th on the PlayStation Store; those on the West Coast can play it at 9 PM PT, April 19th. The latter date also applies to Europe and Australia, though expect times weren’t provided. Regardless, if you pre-load the game, it will be available to play immediately after going live so make sure you get on that.

God of War has already seen a number of positive reviews from various publications. It’s currently the highest rated PS4 exclusive of all time with a Metacritic score of 95 from 86 reviewers. You can check out our official review here to see what makes it so good.
