Godfall – Full Internal Teaser From Early 2019 Leaks, Focuses On Combat

Plenty of new footage in this trailer.

Just yesterday, a brief, 6 second-long clip of Godfall leaked online, showing new, previously unseen footage focusing on the game’s melee-centric combat. The clip was, of course, extracted from a larger unreleased trailer- and now, it seems the entire trailer has leaked as well (via Reddit).

Apparently, the trailer was not meant to be shown to the larger public, and was actually made all the way back in 2019 for internal purposes. As such, much of what you see in here – from the visuals to the combat to the HUD – might not be representative of what you’ll find in the final product later this year. Still, it does give a pretty good idea- and with the entire trailer focused on it, we also get a pretty good look at combat, which is looking like a faster, more visceral version of Dark Souls, in terms of style. Take a look below.

Godfall is due out for PC and PS5 this Holiday. You can take another look at the game’s combat in a clip through here.
