Granblue Fantasy Relink

Cygames released a new gameplay trailer for Granblue Fantasy: Relink, its oft-delayed action RPG, at Granblue Fantasy Fes 2022-2023. It showcased several playable characters while introducing some new ones, like Narmaya. Check it out below.

One of the main antagonists, Id, was also revealed. As one of Avia’s three generals, he’s described as a knight of “unparalleled strength.” More gameplay can be seen in the stream below, with Gran, Lancelot, Siegfried and other characters showcased. Cygames also confirmed two Assist Modes – the basic version will perform combos with one button, automatically unleash Skybound Arts and Link Attacks, and assist with map navigation. It also auto heals, guards and dashes.

The Full Assist Mode performs all actions automatically, with the player seemingly needing to move their character. Granblue Fantasy: Relink is out in 2023 for PS4, PS5 and PC. Series producer Tetsuya Fukuhara noted development is nearing the end and that the team is currently tuning the experience. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
