Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising - Siegfried

Cygames showcased a new trailer for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising at EVO Japan 2023, highlighting new combat mechanics and improved visuals. It also confirmed the latest character joining the roster – Siegfried, the hero in black. Check out the trailer below.

An online beta test will also take place in May for PS4 and PS5. Expect more details, like playable characters and modes, in the coming weeks.

As a free upgrade to the first game, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising features all its characters. It also adds new Ultimate Skills, the Dash Attack to quickly follow up, and much more. RPG Mode replaces Story Mode with an “original” saga while retaining the first game’s chapters.

Online play offers a new lobby system called Lobby Island with mini-games like Grand Bruise Legends that players can partake in. The actual fights will support rollback netcode and cross-platform play.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is out this year for PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
