GTA 5

Grand Theft Auto 5 will be out soon on the PS4 and Xbox One with Rockstar Games revealing a first person mode for the game. It isn’t a simple view change either – the game will play significantly different from the first person perspective.

There’s more though. Gizmodo discovered that the DualShock 4 controller on the PS4 will have exclusive functions for players to utilize. For example, you’ll be able to hear police radio and phone calls through the built-in speaker, if the insanity on-screen isn’t enough to tell you what’s going on. The light bar will also change colours depending on your status – it turns red if you’ve achieved a Wanted level and blue if you’re fine.

Finally, the touch pad will allow you to change radio stations by swiping left or right and changing weapons by swiping up or down. You can also configure it to switch to the first person view.

Grand Theft Auto 5 will be out on November 18th for the PS4 and Xbox One with the PC version out on January 27th 2015.
