Rockstar Games has long been in the habit of skipping PC versions for the initial launches of its flagship titles, which, of course, is going to be the case with the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 as well. Up to this point, the company has remained entirely mum about the inevitable PC release and when it should be expected, though an unlikely source may now have let that information slip.

Caught by VGC, PC peripherals company Corsair Gaming’s finance VP recently claimed in the firm’s quarterly fiscal meeting that it is expecting Grand Theft Auto 6 to release for PC in early 2026, some months after it releases for consoles.

“Yeah, GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console. My understanding now it’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early 2026 for PC,” he said.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is due out for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S this Fall. Rockstar does have a history of delaying virtually all of its major games, but parent company Take-Two Interactive insists that won’t happen with GTA 6 (but acknowledges the risk of “slippages”).
