So you saw a wild theory about Grand Theft Auto 6 and believed the latest trailer would be revealed soon. Again. Well, there’s good news for all the true believers – emails have apparently gone out to Best Buy Affiliate members, revealing that pre-orders would begin on May 18th, i.e. this coming Monday.

It’s part of a campaign available until May 21st, with pre-orders receiving five percent off the physical edition. GamingLeaksAndRumours on Reddit has collated all the different Affiliate accounts that reported receiving the email, from @videogamedeals on Twitter to a GTAForums user. Best Buy, or the company that sends these emails to Affiliates, may have mistakenly let the news slip early.

Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the next trailer will drop on the same day, but you would have to think that Rockstar Games has some new information to reveal. Perhaps on pre-order bonuses and a potential Deluxe Edition, along with whenever we can look forward to the next reveal (especially since marketing begins this Summer).

Either way, the date is seemingly set, so stay tuned for more details – including whether Bank of America gets its wish on the price – next week. Grand Theft Auto 6 launches on November 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PS5, and Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick says it was “expensive.” Head here for more details.
