GTA 5 Releasing June 19th, 2013 according to Amazon

Could be true.

Posted By | On 09th, Dec. 2012

While we know that GTA 5 is scheduled to be released in Spring 2013, it’s always nice to get a definite release date for the game. Amazon have listed GTA 5’s release date and it doesn’t seem like a placeholder at all.

In fact, we know that Rockstar always uses the May month to launch games, they did it with Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3. It’s also known as the Rockstar month, so a one month delay to June seems plausible.

Amazon France is notorious for leaking things, they have done it before so this needs to be taken seriously instead of being skeptical.

The date of release also falls on a Tuesday which is when most games are usually released in the America, now this could not be a co-incidence at all. You may have to wait at least six months in case it turns out to be true, but at least there is E3 on June 13, which will be the stage where next-gen consoles will probably get announced.

Not a bad way to end this generation in style, right?

The game has been confirmed for the PS3 and Xbox 360, while Rockstar has mentioned that they have no details to share on a PC release at this stage.
