An open beta test for consoles and arcades is scheduled for early 2021.
Along with announcing Giovanna and teasing Anji Mito, Arc System Works finally provided a release date for Guilty Gear Strive. It’s out on April 9th, 2021 for PS4, PS5, and PC. An open beta test for both consoles and arcades has also been confirmed for early 2021 with more details to come.
While the arcade test is location-based, the console beta test is available for everyone. That being said, PlayStation Store pre-orders get access one day early. There are three editions to choose from – Standard ($59.99), Digital Deluxe ($84.99) and Ultimate Edition ($99.99). Those who pick up the Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Edition will receive access to the game three days early.
Season Pass 1 details were also provided – it will include five additional characters post-launch, two additional stages and five additional colours for each character (including the base roster). There will also be an extra story scenario called “Another Story.” The Season Pass is included with the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game.
