Guilty Gear Strive - Faust

Arc System Works’ second open beta test for Guilty Gear Strive is currently on-going, adding Anji Mito and I-No into the mix. While there’s been plenty of talk about online multiplayer, the developer hasn’t revealed much about the Story Mode. Thankfully, it seems that a story trailer is inbound and will premiere on May 16th at 8:10 AM PST.

The story is apparently set to conclude the 20 years long Guilty Gear saga. It sees Asuka R. Kreutz aka That Man, the Gear Maker and Sol’s most hated foe, turning himself in to the authorities. What is he planning and how will Sol tackle this? Whatever happens, it promises to be quite the epic conclusion.

Along with Story Mode, Guilty Gear Strive will also have an Arcade Mode where players can take different routes through each character’s tale based on their performance. The full game releases on June 11th for PS4, PS5 and PC with Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners receiving early access on June 8th. Stay tuned for more details on the story trailer in the coming days.
