Halo 5 Guardians

Another free update is on the way for Halo 5: Guardians. This month’s update is Memories of Reach and it will be out early this month. It includes the return of Infection, the usual new armour and weapon skins, Forge updates and so on.

Infection will features four rounds, each consisting of three minutes, and support for 12 players. In this mode, “Infected” run around attempting to kill normal players. Those who are killed become the Infected and those that survive before the timer runs out win the round. New medals will be added for Infection so watch out for those.

The May update will also add a new Arena map called Stasis, some matchmaking options for one’s preferences, updates to the UI and advanced controller options and some rebalancing for different REQ weapons. You can check out the full list of weapon rebalances here but look for the Plasma Caster and Hydra to be more deadly. For instance, the Hydra will now do more area of effect damage and sport less recoil. The Typhon variant is even cooler since it will be able to look on to three targets simultaneously.
