Over a year later, 343 Industries will finally showcase more of the campaign from Halo Infinite. It’s coming today at 6 AM PST and will provide a “fresh look” at the game’s campaign, introducing players “to true Spartan freedom in the biggest, most wide open and adventure-filled Halo experience yet.”

The story of Halo Infinite takes place after the events of Halo 5: Guardians with Master Chief being discovered by a wayward pilot. They both touch down on Zeta Halo, where The Banished (from Halo Wars 2) have taken control away from the UNSC forces. Naturally, the Chief isn’t one to stand for this and takes the fight to The Banished.

Last year saw the debut of demo gameplay from the campaign which showcased new weapons and tools like the Grappling Hook. It would face criticism for its visual fidelity but later screenshots from 343 Industries showcased significant improvements. Finally, we’ll get to see how the updated visuals look in motion.

Halo Infinite is slated to release on December 8th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC along with launching day one on Xbox Game Pass. Stay tuned for more details from the campaign reveal later today.
