The first major event for Halo Infinite’s multiplayer beta, which launched early to celebrate the franchise’s 20th anniversary, goes live tomorrow at 10 AM PT. A short teaser for Fracture: Tenrai was showcased by the official Halo Twitter and featured the samurai-themed armor sets that players could acquire. Check it out below.
Unlike the regular Battle Pass, the Fractures are completely free and meant to provide cosmetics that are more fantastical in scope. Tenrai offers 30 tiers which provide armor, pieces and three new weapon skins for players to unlock. This is only the first of many upcoming events with others like Tactical Ops, Cyber Showdown and Winter Contingency having been teased.
It should be interesting to see the reception, especially as criticism mounts against Halo Infinite’s excessive monetization and Spartan customization. As for the game’s campaign, it’s still on track to release on December 8th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
