While 343 Industries has focused primarily on Heroic difficulty for its Halo campaigns in the past, with Halo Infinitethe developer has designed the base of the experience around Normal difficulty. Even though, series fans who love the more challenging nature of Heroic and Legendary need not fret- because there’s some new gameplay here that demonstrates that the upcoming shooter will still be capable of putting up a tough fight.

IGN has uploaded a video in which it showcases two of the game’s very first boss fights on Legendary difficulty. The first is against the hulking Brute named Trimonious, while the second sees the Master Chief squaring off against a deadly Elite soldier named Chak’Lok. Both pose unique threats and challenges, demanding different strategies, but both clearly will push players to their limits. Check out the gameplay below.

Meanwhile, other recent campaign footage also recently offered a glimpse of what you can expect from the various side activities that will be scattered throughout the semi-open world of Zeta Halo. Check out that gameplay through here.

Halo Infinite launches on December 8 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
