Halo Infinite Not Planned for X018 Appearance

It looks like we’re not going to get to see this game next month.

Halo Infinite

Many Halo fans may be hoping for, or even expecting, Microsoft and 343 Industries to show Halo Infinite, the next entry in the franchise that was announced back at E3, at the upcoming X018 event. However, it looks like your hopes will be dashed on that front, because 343 Industries has confirmed that it currently does not plan on showing the game at the event at all.

343 Industries’ Community Director Brian Jarrard said on Twitter, in response to a fan’s question, that for now, there is nothing planned for Microsoft’s event, though he did say that 343 Industries are internally trying to figure out when, where, and how they will discuss the game next.

Unfortunately, then, it looks like fans may be in for a wait, as far as learning more about what 343 Industries has billed as the “next chapter” in the saga goes. Given that the game looked great from the little we saw of it, I’m sure they’ll be more than content to let 343 Industries take their time with it and get it right.
