Halo Infinite

As the clock counts down to the day Halo Infinite finally launches, Microsoft is ramping up the hype for the shooter, and as part of its marketing drive, the publisher has released another trailer for players to check out. This one’s a little different though- called “Unspoken”, the short film-style trailer is part of a series called “UNSC Archives”.

This first instalment of that series of trailers dives deep into the Halo lore with elements that series fans will be familiar with. The sort story here follows two UNSC Marines who, while escaping the destruction of Harvest, come across alien technology that they then use to create what goes on to be used by the Master Chief (and other Spartans, for that matter) as the iconic energy shield. For a series that has a track record of this kind of marketing, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that this trailer is a really good one. Check it out below.

Halo Infinite launches on December 8 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, and 343 Industries and Microsoft have been showing more and more of the game as that day approaches. In recent days, several trailers have given us extended looks at the single player campaign, a new Arena multiplayer map, the game’s PC-specific features, and more. Recently, reports have also suggested that Halo Infinite could have an early access period prior to its worldwide launch- read more on that through here.
