Aside from frustrations with the progression and monetization, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer has been met rather positively by fans. That being said, one does have to wonder about the absence of fan-favorite weapons like the Fuel Rod Cannon, classic Shotgun and more. In a recent video for Game Informer, 343 Industries head of creative Joseph Staten fielded a question about whether fans had seen everything that the game’s armor had to offer.

Staten responded, “The answer is a resounding ‘no you have not'” and added that it was a “pretty safe bet” that more weapons would be added over time. There may also be secret weapons like Halo 2’s Scarab gun, though he noted that, “If I told you, they wouldn’t be secrets now would they?”

Finally, as one would expect, more content will be added with each new season. Season 2 for Halo Infinite begins in May 2022 with campaign co-op coming in the same month. Other features like Forge Mode won’t be added until Summer 2022 though details for the same will be revealed in January.

Halo Infinite’s campaign launches on December 8th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will launch day one on Xbox Game Pass. For more details on precisely when the campaign unlocks, head here.
