Halo Infinite’s multiplayer has been the recipient of widespread praise from critics and players alike- and rightfully so. But nothing is ever perfect, and so, too, does Halo Infinite’s multiplayer need to deal with a number of issues that players have brought up. 343 Industries has already been working on fixes for a number of these, such as the Battle Pass progression or issues with cheaters. Another issue that many have brought up is the general lack of playlists in the game- and that, too, is something that the developer is actively working on.

Taking recently to Twitter, community manager John Junyszek said that in response to feedback from players, 343 Industries has been working on adding more playlists to the game. Three playlists are currently in the works and will be added later in December, before the year is over. These include Tactical Slayer, Free-for-All, and Fiesta, which was temporarily available but was taken off when the Fracture: Tenai event was pulled.

Junyszek explained that 343 Industries will be using future Events to test out new modes and then later add them to playlists, while the developer will also be monitoring and adjusting existing playlists based on player feedback. Meanwhile, a Social Slayer playlist – which has been in high demand pretty much since the day the game’s multiplayer launched – is also in the works, but won’t be arriving until after the year-end holidays.

Meanwhile, Halo Infinite’s single player campaign is also right around the corner, and will be launching for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on December 8.
