For all of the praise that Halo Infinite’s multiplayer has received for its gameplay, the criticism towards its monetization, progression and handling of events has been just as harsh. Case in point is Fracture: Tenrai, the limited time event which provides a free 30 Tier Event Pass with samurai-themed armor and the Fiesta playlist. It ends tomorrow at 10 AM PT and it’s confirmed Fiesta will become unavailable.
But don’t worry – the event playlist will with Fracture: Tenrai in January 2022. The event doles out a limited number of Fiesta-specific challenges so players are forced to wait until its return to progress the pass. Fracture: Tenrai is currently planned to appear six times throughout Season 1 with other live events also being live throughout.
This fuels speculation of other highly sought after playlists – like SWAT and Infection – only being available in limited-time events (as opposed to permanently playable in previous games). Time will tell if this is actually the case so stay tuned. In the meantime, Halo Infinite’s campaign releases on December 8th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out its most recent promotional trailers here.
The Fracture: Tenrai event ends on Tuesday, November 30, at 10 AM PT. The Fiesta event playlist will be unavailable until the Tenrai event returns to #HaloInfinite in January 2022. More info: https://t.co/nKNwtzMG7b
