Halo Infinite’s first multiplayer technical preview proved to be a pretty big success (barring the campaign leaks), with players responding very well to what 343 Industries had on offer. Of course, the game’s going to receive more betas on the road to launch, and the developers have promised that future betas are going to be larger in scope. So what can we expect from the next technical preview?
In a recent development update for Halo Infinite, live operations producer Sam Hanshaw confirmed that the next beta will include all the content that was included in the previous test – which means bots and weapons drills – but new modes will also be featured, such as 4v4 and Big Team Battle. Hanshaw also says that 343 Industries plans to bring in more people for the next beta than they did for the first one, as they look to ramp up flighting ahead of the game’s release. That said, there’s no word yet on exactly when the next beta will arrive.
The August development update video for Halo Infinite didn’t show a lot of new gameplay footage, but some important updates were still provided. It’s been confirmed that Halo Infinite will launch without campaign co-op and Forge, though 343 Industries also remains confident that the game will launch this Holiday, with a release date announcement supposedly coming “very soon.”
