Arrowhead Game Studios has a sizable patch coming to Helldivers 2 on September 17th with some significant changes. However, it also has a new Premium Warbond, Chemical Agents, going live on September 19th. As the name indicates, the focus is on gas agents that are lethal to Terminids. Check out the trailer below.
The TX-41 Sterilizer is the newest weapon, serving as a heavy duty sprayer for the corrosive substance. Players can also bring in the AX/TX-13 “Guard Dog” Dog Breath Stratagem for assistance or go loud with the Orbital Gas Strike Stratagem. If you want a smaller controlled explosion, the G-4 Gas grenade is available.
Support players can leverage the new P-11 Stim Pistol, which heals allies upon shooting them. Two new armor sets – the medium AF-02 Haz-Master and the lightweight AF-50 Noxious Ranger – are also available alongside the new Advanced Filtration passive for extra resistance against the gasses. This is in addition to new capes, emotes – including the new co-emote – and victory pose.
