Helldivers 2 – Viper Commandos Warbond Launches June 13th

Arrowhead Game Studios’ next Premium Warbond for Helldivers 2 is going to the jungle. The Viper Commandos Warbond launches on June 13th for PS5 and PC, adding new weapons, armor sets, skins and a new Booster. Check out the trailer below to see some of it in action.

The new weapons are the AR-23A Liberator Carbine, which has slightly more recoil but improved handling for up close shooting, and the sawed-off SG-22 Bushwhacker secondary with three barrels, which can be fired one at a time or all at once.

The PH-9 Predator and PH-202 Twigsnapper are the new armor sets, the former rocking a sweet red beret. Both have the Peak Physique passive for increased melee damage and handling. Further adding to the jungle commando fantasy is the new throwing knife, which, as the name indicates, lets you hurl a knife into an enemy.

The new skins offer new patterns for Hellpods, the Pelican-1 and Exosuits, a first for the co-op shooter. These are in addition to new capes, player cards and emotes. Finally, there’s Experimental Infusion, a Booster which grants damage reduction and increased movement speed after using a stim.
