Director at Platinum Games Hideki Kamiya is a relatively simple man. Annoy him enough about something, and he’ll respond as eloquently as possible. However, today, Kamiya was entertained by a question from a Twitter follower who asked if he would consider creating a third game in the Bayonetta series if Bayonetta 2 happened to be a success.

Kamiya responded simply:

Bayonetta 2 is the sequel to Platinum’s multiplatform action adventure shooter and will be available exclusive for the Nintendo Wii U. Gameplay is faster and more furious than ever, as the bullet witch shows off new moves, Climax attacks and battles even bigger bosses than before.

It would certainly be interesting to see what Kamiya could top the latest round of madness observed in Bayonetta 2. Nonetheless, given that Bayonetta 2 will only be on the Wii U, we’ll have to wait and see just how successful it can be. Bayonetta 2 is currently slated to release in 2014.
