Though season one of IO Interactive’s Hitman is still on-going and plans having been made for season two (which is yet to be announced), it seems the developer has bigger plans for the episodic title.

On Twitter, it confirmed that the plan was for three seasons. “Of course, our plan is to have three seasons. Although Season Two hasn’t been confirmed yet.”

Despite some early complaints of connection issues and the inability to play offline, Hitman has garnered some praise for its various episodes especially with regards to the variety that each new sandbox offers. Episode 4: Bangkok is actually out on August 16th so there’s plenty left to do in season two.

What are your thoughts on a third season for Hitman, especially when season two is yet to be announced? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more details since Hitman will also be at Gamescom.
