Hogwarts Legacy

Following its latest trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live, the PC requirements for Hogwarts Legacy have been revealed on Steam. With an installation size of 85 GB for both minimum and recommended settings, it’s a hefty experience. A solid-state drive is good for the former and mandatory for the latter.

The minimum requirements include an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 8 GB RAM, and a GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD RX Vega 56. While this doesn’t sound too crazy, it’s apparently enough to run the game at 1080p/60 FPS with Low-Quality settings and the Upscale Performance setting.

Recommended requirements include a Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, and a GeForce 1080 Ti or AMD RX 5700 XT. This allows for 1080p/60 FPS gameplay at High-Quality settings and the Upscale Quality setting. The requirements for 1440p and 4K resolution have yet to be revealed, so stay tuned in the coming months.

Hogwarts Legacy is out on February 10th, 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
