Honkai Star Rail - Aventurine

Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 2.1, “Into the Yawning Chasm,” is still ongoing but receives its second new five-star character today. A major star in the ongoing Penacony storyline, Aventurine is a Preservation unit that deals Imaginary damage. He’s also a gambler who risks everything to win big. Check out his animated teaser below.

Aventurine’s Skill grants shields to all party members in combat based on his defense. These can stack, and when allies or Aventurine take damage while shielded, he gains Blind Bet. On reaching seven stacks of the latter, a follow-up attack occurs, reapplying shields. His Ultimate deals Imaginary damage to a single target and inflicts Unnerved, increasing Critical Damage dealt to it for three turns.

Aventurine also gains a random amount of Blind Bet and the cycle repeats. Despite just releasing, he’s a top-tier Preservation unit, competing with the likes of Fu Xuan. You can learn more about his Traces (courtesy of Dr. Ratio) in the latest episode of “Keeping Up With Star Rail.”

Honkai: Star Rail is available for PS5, PC, iOS and Android. It crossed 100 million downloads this past February. Check out our review here.
