miHoYo Games’ newest title Honkai: Star Rail is now available for iOS, Android and PC. As a spin-off from the Honkai Impact games, the turn-based RPG sees players exploring the stars on the Astral Express.
As either Stelle or Caelus, players are implanted with a Stellaron and fight alongside other members of the Astral Express, like Dan Heng and March 7th. Starting from Herta Space Station, they’ll explore snow-covered locales on Jarilo-VI and the “silkpunk” ship that is Xianzhou Luofu. The presentation and visual fidelity are a step up from the studio’s previous titles.
Eventually, more characters like Kafka, Jing Yuan, Bailu, Seele and Bronya will appear, as players investigate different mysteries and battle various foes like the Antimatter Legion. The turn-based combat relies on exploiting enemy weaknesses with elements and accruing Skill Points to unleash stronger attacks. You can also use Ultimates, triggering them in the middle of the turn order for an advantage.
