HoYoverse’s latest title Honkai: Star Rail releases on April 26th for iOS, Android and PC via a dedicated launcher and the Epic Games Store. Pre-loads are live and a new trailer is available, teasing the various locations and characters that players will encounter throughout their star-faring journey. Check it out below.
Honkai: Star Rail is about the Aeons, mysterious entities with power over time and space. Your pursuing them onboard the Astral Express, traveling to different worlds and fighting against the Stellaron. In addition to “high-quality” real-time cinematics, HOYO-MiX has composed the soundtrack (which is a good thing, given their work on Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact).
Unlike miHoYo’s previous games, combat in Honkai: Star Rail is turn-based. Using commands, you exploit different enemy weaknesses and unleash Ultimates. The developer promises random events and “nearly 100 different Blessings and Curios” throughout the journey to liven up combat.
