Being able to take control of machines and then using them as mounts might seem like a fairly ordinary gameplay mechanic given Horizon’s setting, but it’s one that holds a lot of potential. Specifically, the idea of being able to turn flying machines into your personal mounts is an exciting idea. Given the fact that Forbidden West is also releasing on the PS4, one has to wonder whether the console’s technical limitations will allow Guerrilla to implement flying mounts in the game, but if they can somehow manage to do that, traversal and exploration would improve significantly.
