WANT: TURF WARS
Having a world that’s populated by multiple kinds of mechanical monstrosities that roam the wilds holds the inherent potential of excellent infighting mechanics. Horizon Zero Dawn already tapped into that potential to some extent, and had systems in place that allowed different kinds of machines to dynamically lock horns with each other without you ever getting involved. So what do we want from Forbidden West? More of that, please. Put greater emphasis on those systems, allow players to leverage those turf war mechanics more frequently and to much greater effect. Making it a much more integral part of not only the combat but also of the open world design would make things far more dynamic and unpredictable.
