Horizon Forbidden West Retakes the Top Spot in Weekly UK Retail Charts

The supply situation for the PS5 has improved quite a bit in the UK over the last few weeks, and that’s resulted in solid sales for some of its biggest games in the region. As per the latest weekly data released by the Gfk (via GamesIndustry), last week, Horizon Forbidden West retook the top spot in the charts again, having occupied second place the week before, thanks to a 31% week-on-week increase in sales. Similarly, at the tail end of the top 10 is another PlayStation exclusive in Gran Turismo 7. 

Sniper Elite 5, which debuted on top of the charts last week, has fallen down to No. 8 after seeing a 67% drop in sales. Meanwhile, thanks to Sony’s ongoing Days of Play sale, WWE 2K22 has seen a massive bump in sales, shooting straight up from No. 35 to No. 7 thanks to a whopping 356% week-on-week increase in sales. 

Other games on the list are similarly familiar names in these charts, with the likes of Nintendo Switch Sports, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, FIFA 22, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and more all continuing to post strong numbers.
