Horizon

Annoyed at having to access so many different digital storefronts on PC and maintain different libraries for your games? According to Destructoid, a solution may be coming soon with Horizon.

The open source launcher currently has a pre-beta build available on GitHub and it provides an all-in-one launcher which not only lets you manage various digital services like Steam and Origin but your independently installed titles. Further plans are interesting since Horizon will allow players to compare prices across different stores. Features like Big Picture Mode and LUA modding will also be supported in the coming days. When the service allows it to avoid stuff like UPlay, we can’t say we’re not intrigued.

The main site is also under construction so it’s early days yet for Horizon. Nonetheless, it looks interesting and could become something highly convenient. What are your thoughts on Horizon? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
