Before its panel for San Diego Comic-Con, Ascendant Studios released a new trailer for Immortals of Aveum. It showcases an in-game cinematic where Jak, General Kirkan, and Zendara have a meeting. To be more accurate, Jak is admonished for bringing back the Binding Stone instead of destroying it. Check it out below.

Described as a powerful artifact, the Binding Stone is, as Kirkan describes it, a weapon from older times that no one can control. Jak seems adamant that he can, but the General disagrees and tells him to keep it under lock and key in the Vault. Where he goes from there remains to be seen, but things aren’t super-cohesive between the Immortals. Regardless, the facial animation is on point.

Immortals of Aveum is out on August 22nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more story details from the panel. You can also check out our feature for more details on the game.
