Ascendant Studios has confirmed its upcoming magical first-person shooter Immortals of Aveum will be at the Summer Game Fest Showcase on Thursday. It’s unknown if we’ll see new gameplay, but it joins a packed show.
Airing at noon PDT on June 8th, the Summer Game Fest Showcase runs for two hours and will have three to four “really big” announcements. Other games that are confirmed to appear include Remedy’s Alan Wake 2, with a raw gameplay showcase; Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3; NEOWIZ’s Lies of P; Phantom Liberty, the upcoming expansion for Cyberpunk 2077; and the gameplay reveal of Mortal Kombat 1.
Of course, other surprises may be in store, like the demo for Final Fantasy 16 potentially being shadow-dropped (especially since its listing appeared on the PlayStation Store recently). Stay tuned for more details and other confirmed appearances in the coming days. Immortals of Aveum is available on July 20th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
