Infamous: Second Son Releasing in Q1 2014, PS4 Launch Lineup Confirmed

Look forward to Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack and Drive Club at launch.

SCE Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida recently confirmed the launch line up for the PlayStation 4 when it releases this Holiday season. This includes games like Mark Cerny’s Knack, Killzone: Shadow Fall and Drive Club which will all launch with the system.

However, inFamous: Second Son will be coming out in 2014, and due to the fact that it’s going to be within the PS4’s launch window, this leads us to believe that it’s prepped for a first quarter release, perhaps around February or March.

Some new footage of the game showcased some of the impressive facial animation between the super-powered protagonist and his brother. Plus, we get to see some familiar mechanics such as gliding and being able to launch yourself in the air. A new melee whip weapon stands out in the footage that is showcased.
