Guerrilla Games’ Killzone: Shadow Fall continues to receive support in the multiplayer department, with the latest update adding a new King of the Hill mode to the proceedings.

Unlike point capture modes, King of the Hill generally involves capturing certain zones which shift mid-match, thus leading to a mode which “creates chaos” according to the dev. The mode will have a 16 player limit with 15 minutes of time for each map. There will also be reduced respawn time and an increased point limit. You’ll now need 250 points to capture a location rather than 100.

All maps will support King of the Hill, including the new DLC maps, and you’ll also find some collectible crates on maps. The mode will be added on Friday, April 18th and will be featured in the multiplayer screen for easy access.
