Killzone Shadow Fall (3)
Managing Director at Guerrilla Games Hermen Hulst has revealed some interesting new details about the upcoming PlayStation 4 launch title Killzone: Shadow Fall. Besides featuring bigger maps and huge set pieces along with a “more tactical gameplay on top of that.”

He also stated that the game will make use of the DualShock 4 gamepad including the touch pad which lets you control an AI companion. “We have this robotic companion that helps you out and gives you an attack mode that lets you zip-line across the map, et cetera. So we’ll use the touchpad to control that.”

There will also be a use for the speaker on the DualShock 4, along with the headset jack. Perhaps a way to issue orders to your AI companion or listen in for additional info? We’ll soon find out.

Killzone: Shadow Fall will be heading to the PlayStation 4 this Holiday season along with DriveClub, Knack, PlanetSide 2 and Watch_Dogs among others.
