Yesterday, game director Steven ter Heide, who is heading up the mega-launch title and much-awaited Killzone: Shadow Fall, tweeted, “Quiet Saturday morning in the office. Starting my [Killzone: Shadow Fall] campaign playthrough.”
Of course this statement – which was later deleted along with others – attracted a fair bit of attention. Was the campaign already finished? ter Heide stated to a follower, “@Sentry_NC has been for a couple of months. Had couple playtests already. Getting better every time”.
By that point, perhaps driven mad by the attention he was receiving, ter Heide also tweeted (as reported by PushSquare), “Just played through an awesome encounter. Game is really starting to come together. Can’t wait to show you more.”
We suppose by then he said more than he should have and decided to remove all concerning tweets. Nonetheless, it’s interesting because it indicates that what we saw at the PS4 reveal event on February 20th was either running on an old dev-kit or is actually the finished product.
Do you think it looked good enough though?
